Newman Outfitters been in business since May 2001 and moved to our new location in June 2008.  Dan is a certified gunsmith, specializing in action work and parkerizing - a tough, durable refinishing.  Estimates for gun repair are free with a "good faith estimate".  The staff are certified NRA instructors and conduct safety classes every Sunday.  We buy, sell & trade handguns & long guns and have a nice supply of top quality air rifles and pistols.  We also carry accessories, ammunition and other "big boy toys".  We will act as your FFL broker for transfers for online or out of state purchases.  Our air conditioned air gun range has 4 lanes and can handle air guns that fire up to 1650fps.  When you visit our shop, you deal only with the owners so you get top quality service.  We appreciate every customer!   Dan has done more than 850 parkerizing jobs with NO complaints EVER.  All his jobs are top quality, done by only him with his personal guarantee.  He has brought back guns from the dead. Whether they were left in the floods or in bilges of boats and thought to be non-recoverable, he has been able to bring them back to perfect working order.  More than 1 customer has taken back thier newly restored treasure with tears in thier eyes because it was Dad's or Granddad's and they thought it was a goner.    Our air gun range is for adults.  Kids are allowed only with parental supervision and must behave.  We will sight in air guns that are purchased and give any training necessary.  Customers can try out the guns to be sure they are on target before leaving.    We are always available to answer any questions regarding  safety or operation.  Our goal is to make our shop where people can feel comfortable just dropping by.
